Growing up, there were times when I felt completely alone - unsure of where I belonged or how to move forward. I often felt different from those around me, and that sense of not fitting in left me feeling isolated and filled with self-doubt. For a long time, I carried that weight quietly, believing I had to figure it all out on my own.

It wasn’t until I started therapy that something shifted. For the first time in what felt like forever, I felt seen, heard, and understood. That single experience - being met with compassion instead of judgment - opened a door for me. It helped me reconnect with myself and begin to believe that healing was possible.

That’s why I created A Welcoming Home Psychotherapy - to offer others the same sense of safety and belonging that changed my own life.

Here, therapy isn’t about fixing you; it’s about walking alongside you. It’s about gently exploring the parts of yourself that may have been silenced by stress, trauma, or self-doubt - and helping you rediscover your voice, your strength, and your sense of self.

Our name reflects what we believe at our core: therapy should feel like a welcoming home - a space where you can simply be. A place of warmth, acceptance, and authenticity, where you never have to hide who you are or face your journey alone.
